If you watched my video last year where I hung out at the Cincy Seltzer Festival, you probably picked up on something that has been happening in the Seltzer world. Things are getting a little confusing for drinkers. The lines between seltzers, hard sodas, teas, RTDs, Ciders, and even beers are getting blurrier and blurrier. As a drinker, it is a little confusing. As a drinker… does it really matter what they’re classified as. anyways?

Cincinnati’s Fowling Warehouse was in the middle of planning this year’s seltzer festival when it hit them – why should they limit themselves to traditional seltzers? What’s the actual spirit of the festival, anyways? They clearly are in the same boat as many of us in that they just want tasty, summery drinks, in a fun and vibrant atmosphere.

Thus, the summer sips festival was born.

What Is It?

First off, the when. The festival takes place on 4/22/23 from 6-11 pm. Go ahead and mark your calendar. I’ll wait.

If you went to either one of the first two Cincy Seltzer Festivals, you wouldn’t be too surprised by this one. It’s a festival packed full of all the light, refreshing summer drinks that you crave this time of year. While, yes – there will be plenty of seltzers available, there will also be a lot of other drinkers on tap too, from Twisted Tea (one of the sponsors of the event) to plenty of light, fruity summer beers, too!

All in all, there will be thirty different breweries, seltzer makers, and “other” drink purveyors on hand to showcase some of the tastiest things that you’ll want to know about as the weather gets warmer!

If you haven’t been to a festival at The Fowling Warehouse (seriously? How have you missed Beer Booze and Bonks?) you know that The Fowling Warehouse knows how to throw a heck of a party. Not only are their festivals great, but they are also all coupled up with open Fowling. With your ticket, you get access to their fowling lanes to play during the event. If you’ve never tried Fowling, this is a great chance to do it!

The festival is also designed to help raise some money for a good cause. The Pink Ribbon Girls will be on hand to take donations – so you can feel like you’re doing some good in the world while you’re having a blast.

Tickets

If you want to get your tickets ahead of time to make sure you have access to the event, you can head on over to Cincy Ticket to snag them. Tickets are $29.99 and will be available the day of the event, too!
