Let’s take a quick breath together and say it in unison – 2020 has been rough. Even with the good stuff (9 new brewery taprooms this year? I’ll take it), it’s hard to ignore that 2020 has been miserable in a lot of ways. Couple a crappy year with the fact that hanging out with your friends over a couple of beers is nonexistent, or just – weird – and we need something.

Enter Fibonacci Brewing Company. If you don’t know about these guys – go read about them, or even better… use this as a great excuse to get out to Mt. Healthy to see what they’re all about. Fibonacci has been busting their butts this year as they’ve started rolling with their long-planned beer garden and the start of their Urban Farm next door to their taproom (they’ve got goats and chickens… seriously… it’s fantastic). Even with all the work they’ve been putting into keeping on track with their growth alongside the need to keep surviving (remember… 2020) they still have their customers at the front of their minds through all this.

See, in previous years the brewery has used Thanksgiving Eve as a chance to throw a celebration – a sort of Customer appreciation night. They throw a family-style get together as a time for all of us to show up, have some beers, and for them to show their gratitude for all the people that make the business work day to day. But… again remember… 2020. You can’t really fill up your taproom and hug each other over beers these days.

You think that’s stopping them? Obviously not, or else I wouldn’t be writing this, would I?

This Year… A Month To Celebrate

Instead of cramming a customer appreciation night into a germ-filled, packed taproom of one evening, the brewery has made the wise, and caring decision to spread things out for the entire month… which has the pleasant advantage of making it easier for all of us to make it out and celebrate with them on our own time (shout out to those of you who live on #DadLife time the same way that I do…)

For the whole month you’ll be able to get some fun stuff at the brewery like pins and stickers… that sort of stuff. In addition, each visit you’ll get the chance to enter into a drawing for a two-night stay in Cincinnati’s best Airbnb (that’s the one that’s in the farmhouse next door to the brewery – overlooking the goats and the chickens. Brewery – Airbnb – you get why it’s great, right?). In addition, the brewery just launched their online merch store – and they’re offering a 20% discount on a variety of shirts, hoodies, kids clothes and more to help kick it all off. You can find the store here – but make sure that you use the code FIBBREW when you check out to get your discount.

In the end. 2020 is miserable. But things are looking up… I hope. Get out, have a beer – wave at some friends (since none of us can see each other smile anymore… stupid masks…). Fibonacci gets it. Go tell them that you appreciate them as much as they do, us.
