All About Dogberry Brewing

DogBerry opened their doors as a nano brewery, and chugged along that way for around 2 and a half years before upgrading to a ten barrel brewhouse and a much larger space in 2017.  They keep a massive lineup of 20 taps that lean heavy into the IPA category, but they aren’t afraid to dabble in some other categories depending on how the mood may strike.

Their motto can be summed up perfectly in something that owner Tony Meyer said to me in an interview all the way back in 2014 as they were still prepping their space.  He said “We don’t want to take over the world, or be the biggest.  We just want to make the beer we love and share it with those who love it too”.

What’s DogBerry Like?

The “new” DogBerry location takes the feeling of their original space and turns everything up a notch or two.  The space is wide when you walk in, rather than being deep.  It helps keep the space from feeling as big as it is.  The bar is a beautiful piece of natural wood, coated in epoxy, and it sets off perfectly from the gray tile behind the bar and the stainless accents that dot the space.  A scattering of picnic tables make sure that your friends and family always have a pace to sit down and have a few pints together. If you want to spend a while, they’ve got a really great vintage skeeball machine alongside a couple of comfortable couches as well as a nice small patio for those nice days.
