All About Esoteric
Esoteric Brewing Company is all about balance. I’m not talking just about the beers (though as you’ll see in a minute when we’re talking about them… they tend to lean into a balanced approach too). It’s a much, much bigger picture with them. From the space itself, to the very lifestyle that they hope to encourage and promote – it’s about creating balance.
Owners Brian, Marvin and Patrick chose the Paramount building in Walnut Hills to call home, and the process was long, and definitely hyped up by the beer community around Cincinnati. They had a very high bar to hit when they opened their doors in 2020 – and even amidst a global pandemic – they nailed it.
As the world pushes itself closer and closer to a normal existence again, I expect only great things from these folks as they continue to evolve and grow as a brewery.
What To Expect From Esoteric
Esoteric’s home is amazing. The historic Paramount building is very Cincinnati if that makes any sense. big, open, and oozing with art deco charm – it’s the perfect building to sit down and have a drink with your friends. I might have failed to mention… drink, you’ll want to.
The beers lean into that balance I was talking about… but don’t shy away from anything. The styles, so far are traditional and really well done. Head Brewer Brian’s love of Belgian styles comes through strong, with a really great lineup of Belgians alongside some other styles that will please your palate.
You will be happy here. They are curating an idea that provides a haven for all of us to call home.
