I’m a very happily married Gnome…but I can only assume that some of you are more on the single side than I am. If you fall into the ‘single and ready to mingle’ category, Christian Moerlein is kicking off a contest, just for you!
In celebration of this year’s release of Strawberry Pig Cream Ale, they are looking for 5 single men, and 5 single women who are available on May 31st for what they are calling “The Ultimate Blind Date Event like no other!”. As far as what that really means, they’re still being a little tight lipped about the specifics of the evening, only telling us so far that they’re going to be the “pilots” for a craft beer experience, dinner and a musical adventure, and are asking that the participants like craft beer, great food, being adventurous, and alternative rock music.
That being said… If you start doing a little research, you might get some ideas together of what could be in store… Their use of wording in the press release is most likely no coincidence…
How To Enter, How To Win?
There are a couple ways that you could win this contest, the first of which is on April 16th at Findlay Market. That Saturday, the Moerlein team will be there celebrating the return of “The Pig” at the OTR biergarten. They’re going to have all sorts of strawberry-themed special items from vendors around the market. That day, the team will be selecting six of their ten winners from all the entries that they get at the Biergarten.
There’s a way you can win online as well as in person (if that’s more your speed). The remaining 2 men and 2 women are going to be selected with a more “social” approach. Post pictures of you and your friends during the adventures you find yourselves getting into with Strawberry Pig and make sure you tag #MoerleinBlindDate to get your photos entered.
There are a couple rules in order to win, that you should know about.
- No Purchase is necessary
- You’ve got to be 21 or older
- You have to be single.
- You’ve got to be free and available on Tuesday May 31st
- You’ll need your own transportation to and from the Lager House the day of the event.
