There are a few things that tie Municipal Brew Works and Narrow Path Brewing together. They’re on opposite sides of the universe in local terms, from Hamilton to Loveland… but like I said – several things bring them together.

First off… an most obvious – they both make awesome beer. That’s easy. Venture out to their taprooms and you’ll quickly see that they are also both located really close to their river’s (the great Miami in Hamilton and the Little Miami in Loveland) – a little less obvious to me, but that smacked me upside the head when I heard it — Duh… they both have a Tano Bistro within walking distance! These are definitely the ingredients for not just a beer collaboration, but for something a little bigger.

The Collaboration

What makes a collaboration go from awesome, to mindblowing? Well… we’re not just talking about a beer that they made together (though we are definitely talking about that, too). In addition to the collab. beer, this event will include a handful of medal winners – some from each brewery – because if you look at the list? We can do that.

The beer they made together is a Chocolate Cherry Stout that has been dubbed ‘Two Rivers’ and alone – it would be great. To kick it up a notch, the breweries will be tapping a couple of their medal winners at each tapping event, to provide a little context for us all into what they do.

Not enough? Don’t forget about Tano Bistro! To round this out, the tapping events are going to take place at both Tano Bistro locations – first on 2/22 in Hamilton, and then again on 3/1 in Loveland. A certified cicerone worked with the experts at Tano to pair up 2 medal winners from each brewery, along with the beer to create a five course pairing. With your experience, you’ll get a tasting glass… but more importantly – you’ll get an evening that you won’t forget!

Tickets are limited… so don’t miss out. They’re available at each Tano’s location, or online via Eventbrite (head to Tano’s Facebook page)
