All About Alexandria Brewing Company
Alexandria Brewing Company fits the mold of ‘neighborhood space’ near perfectly. The brewery is in the small Kentucky town of Alexandria (surprise!), and brews up a huge variety of beers on their 5bbl system, pumping out everything from big barrel aged stouts, NE IPAs to some really fantastic traditional lagers and German styles.
Owner/Head Brewer Andy Reynolds is a brilliantly smart brewer, cranking out things that would make any brewer in this city turn their head. It’s an amazing addition to the Cincinnati craft beer community and an absolute gem in the town of Alexandria.
What To Expect at Alexandria
The ABC taproom is split into three distinct areas, from the front part which is more “restaurant like” (they have Four Mile Pig on site always serving up barbecue), to the middle “barn-like” bar atmosphere, to the back room which is a more traditional brewery space, overlooking the brewhouse and all it’s glorious shiny tanks.
Like I mentioned before, there is an awesome mix of styles at Alexandria, so there will be something for anyone in your group to drink, regardless of their favorite type of beer.
