On July 26, 2014, the Spring Grove Heritage Foundation will host ‘An Afternoon with the Beer Barons’ event from 4P to 7P. This event will be held outdoors in the scenic Rose Garden venue just inside the main entrance of the cemetery. The event will be salute to the rich history of beer in Cincinnati as many of the founding Beer Barons are buried here at Spring Grove. Our Heritage Foundation docents have done extensive research on these famous families and will share their vast knowledge as our guests join the docents on motor coach tours of the cemetery throughout the event.

We are proud to say that the Christian Moerlein Brewing Company, Madtree Brewing Company, Rivertown Brewing Company, and Rhinegeist Brewing Company will be among the brewers represented and will provide samplings of some of their exclusive beers. Food will be provided by Funky’s catering and musical entertainment will be provided throughout the event.

This is a 21 and over event and will be strictly enforced. The cost for the afternoon is $40. per person and reservations are necessary. Reservations and tickets will be issued through Eventbrite. Please click here to purchase tickets. Ticket sales begin Monday, May 12, 2014.
